The theme for this week's A Snap, A Set and A Song is
Coast.
The Western Australian coast is quite spectacular, and I have many photos of it, from Busselton to Broome! The picture below was taken in Kalbarri.
My Snap:
I haven't been to the beach in winter for years, but I used to love to go there to read a book, write, or sketch, cuddled up in a warm winter coat.
My Set:

This song has a relaxing beachy vibe, and is a classic 70s clip!

Great snap, I love the dark ocean, very different to our ocean.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous set. Beautiful colours. A book and a camera, what more do you need?
I'd forgotten about that song and hadn't seen the video before...cool!!
Thanks for linking with another fabulous SS&S :)
I hadn't thought about how the colour of the ocean would be different where you are. In some places along the west coast the beach can be quite shallow, and even at the main beach at Kalbarri it is shallow, but beneath these cliffs it's wild, rocky and deep! :)
DeleteI was also thinking how clear and blue the water was in your snap - more like the Caribbean than the Atlantic Ocean on whose coast I live. (Is the the Pacific in your snap?)
ReplyDeleteLove your set - I so rarely see cool weather (or cold weather) garb on Aussie posts. ;-)
And the song takes me back to the days that my kids were ... well, kids! :-)
