I'm baaaack!

On a drizzly day in Hobart, we met up with Jonathon's cousin Chelsea, and her family, at the beach. While the men discussed the best places to live in Tassie,

we kept Rowan from the water,

sat on big rocks,

stepped carefully over smaller rocks,

twirled umbrellas,

found abandoned headless dollies(?!)

climbed dunes,

explored hidey holes,

stumbled down hills, and up again, laughing all the while,

gazed out to sea,

kept off the rain,

and waved our umbrellas!

Trip to Tassie

We just came back from our trip to Tasmania-gotta love that place! Cold, but a refreshing cold. Everyone was wearing a beanie.

Hobart was spectacular! We stayed at the Lenna Hotel, around the corner from the Salamanca Markets. How amazing to walk down a tree-lined steet filled with stalls and edged with Georgian terraces, to see a snow-capped Mount Wellington looming in the background. Stunning!! Was able to meet author, Steve Isham and bought one of each of his children's books. Beautiful illustrations!

The food in Tassie was brilliant too. I ate a lot of seafood - delish! Pretty amazing to have fish and chips on a boat with a seal swimming around below!

It was great to catch up with Jonathon's Dad and girlfriend, Denise. They are adorable, and so funny! Aleisha, Denise's daughter, was the perfect playmate for Jack. They had a ball riding around the farm on their new bikes. Loved catching up with Jonathon' s Aunty Anne and Uncle Kelvin. They are always so welcoming, and their house is gorgeous!
