It's Monday, What Are You Reading?

Today I'm linking up with Sheila at Book Journey for her It's Monday What Are You Reading linky party.
I do this every week, because it's nice to talk books with other bookish people!

When you stop by this week, have a look around at what else I do on this blog:

so you can always be guaranteed of a new read when you pop by each day.

On Mondays I talk about bookish things:

On Tuesdays I find art deco influences on fashion and decor

On Wednesdays I share fun family adventures

On Thursdays I create a photography, fashion and musical post

On Fridays I rave about films that I love

On Saturdays I write my things-to-do-list (to buy, read, write and organise)

And on Sundays I show church fashion pics, and offer food for the soul.

I always reply to your comments so you know you are appreciated :)

Now, onto bookish things, this last week, I have been reading, and I have 200 pages left (of an 849 page book!)

The story is all about time travel, the 1950s and 60s, teaching, politics, and dancing.
Brilliant stuff!

My next read will be:

and I am looking forward to the Garden Party following this read-a-long!

Have a great reading week, and take a moment to follow me so you can come by and visit each day!

Check it out!

    1. I was always amazed too, and then I realised that they were planning their posts rather than just waiting for inspiration to hit. Now I find it quite easy to do, except when I'm super busy or tired. xx

  3. The Secret Garden was a favourite childhood read and I loved it just as much when I re-read a couple of years ago. I'm not game to read a chunkster right now, I seem to be reading at snail's pace LOL
Have a great week and happy reading :)

    1. I read the first page of Secret Garden just to get an idea of what I'm about to read, and I can't wait! I just love Mary's character, and the setting. I should be finished 11/22/63 tonight. It is so good! xx

    1. My mum just gave me a Belinda Alexandra book, but it's not Golden Earrings. I've always thought about reading one of her books so now must be the time!

By the way - I totally adored Poet's Cottage, and am so looking forward to your next book! xx
