Yeah, I'm with you! I love bananas "IN STUFF". I'm not a fan of those 'bad boys' on their own though. I don't like the texture in my mouth that much...especially when their skin starts to get those unsightly brown spots! O_O ...Granny Smith apples are my thing for all time....alone....and IN STUFF! LOL
I still love them on their own, but definitely can't eat ripe ones! When I was on my raw food diet 18 months ago, bananas were the best thing for energy, and for feeling full.:)
Oh I love Bananas too - I think I just put on so many kilos looking at those pictures. Thanks for playing along xx
Well, visually, I think this is possibly the best blogpost I've ever done! LOL!!!
Don't forget banana bread! I'm a big banana fan as well, particularly in winter. I find in summer they have a different consistency to them. They can't be too ripe though, they need to be only just turned yellow for me. And I only eat the carnavon ones, fuss pot that I am! I've been having a banana smoothie with breakfast most mornings lately, good way to use up all the bananas that get too ripe for me to eat by themselves. I have mine with a tub of yoghurt, a spoonful of honey and a handful of oats. And milk of course! And banana splits are the best, I have recently gotten MR onto them, he'd never had one before and now he thinks they are the bomb!
Your banana smoothies sound delish! It's very rare that we have banana bread, but I like that too! xx
Thanks for leaving me a message. You have made my day! xx
