Sunday Session - Pretty Voices, Pretty Melodies

I'm joining in with Thea's Sunday Session to play two great songs, an oldie and a newbie.


I've had the newbie song in my head all week, and it inspired me to go back and listen to this pretty song by the Cranberries:

How much do I love the scene where she is lying on top of all the love letters? Gosh! That hair colour! That voice! Those harmonies! That jangly guitar! So singalongable!

    Thank you so much for sharing these!!!! My hubby had heard both of them before, but I hadn't heard either!!! Now, "you are the only exception...." is clanging around in my head too!! ^_^ Probably will be all day!

    Linger is my favourite Cranberries song!

    I saw the Cranberries in Brisbane in '95....SO good!!!

    I hadn't heard that Paramour song either. You are right, it is gorgeous!

    wow, i had to come check out your blog after you left a comment on our blog saying you too almost fell asleep at the Cure concert in Perth...can not believe that someone else got sleepy - i have always wondered how I could possibly fall asleep at such an amazing band's performance!

    And I love the song suggestions you have here too...Linger was a big favorite of mine when I was younger
