Sunday Session - Pretty Voices, Pretty Melodies

I'm joining in with Thea's Sunday Session to play two great songs, an oldie and a newbie.

I've had the newbie song in my head all week, and it inspired me to go back and listen to this pretty song by the Cranberries:

Gotta love strings!

The one that's been in my head all week is this beautiful song:

How much do I love the scene where she is lying on top of all the love letters? Gosh! That hair colour! That voice! Those harmonies! That jangly guitar! So singalongable!

  1. Thank you so much for sharing these!!!! My hubby had heard both of them before, but I hadn't heard either!!! Now, "you are the only exception...." is clanging around in my head too!! ^_^ Probably will be all day!

  2. Linger is my favourite Cranberries song!

I hadn't heard the Paramore song before, but I really liked it. Thanks for pointing me in its direction.

  3. Paramore have some great songs!:)

  4. I used to be a huge Cranberries fan:)

  5. Hi I am calling by from Thea's Sunday Session and have enjoyed listening to your selection. I had never heard of Paramour before, a beautiful song.

  6. Love the Cranberries! I haven't listened to them for a while. I might have to rearrange my playlist on my ipod.

    Best wishes,
