I LOVE
avocados - so filling
dried pears- so divinely sweet!
sundried tomatoes - so much flavour!
gherkins - so tasty!
Some sad things I have found are that I can not eat
grapes
or any kind of nut
because my digestive system reacts badly!
GOOD NEWS: I have lost 5 kilos in 1 month!
I have decided to reintroduce bread into my diet, because I tried it and it digested well.
Plus, the raw food diet is quite restricted if you can't eat nuts.
I'm just loving preparing fruit and vegetables for meals!
I'm proud of you for sticking with it enough to get to know what your body likes and doesn't like. Most of us wouldn't have made it a whole month!
ReplyDeleteWell done sis. You look really good. Your skin was glowing when I saw you last week. It made me chuckle to read that you love gherkins, mum must be proud!
ReplyDeleteLove, Kristie xox
Hi Wendy, you won my little craft space giveaway from last week :) Can you email me at megan@mousehouse.co.nz your address please :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, hope you've had a great week
Do you find it hard to come up with things to prepare? I try to include lots of veges in our meals, but I find everyone (particularly the picky, small people) get bored with the same things and are too skittish to try new ones.
ReplyDeleteJonathon and Jack are still eating meat and potato, and Jonathon barely likes raw veges, but Jack is LOVING plates full of raw veg, especially carrots, celery, lettuce, snap peas and capsicum,as well as rockmelon and olives. I'm just having salads with different mixes of fruit and veg. I find adding chopped dates, gherkins or dried apricots changes the flavour to give the salads variety.xx
ReplyDeleteThanks for your support! It's good to know that the changes in my diet are having other good effects as well as weight loss and pain-free digestion. xx
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, being a raw foody and not being able to eat nuts is not good! I have a friend here who is raw foody and she makes lots of weird things with dates!!! So why did you go raw? Good job Wendy!
