We're back! And there's a giveaway winner!

We're back from our wonderful holiday in glorious Broome! What a pretty, pretty place - such beautiful colours everywhere, and so HOT!

But before I launch into showing you all the photos (which I've been madly trying to scrapbook for the last 2 days!) I just want to thank all the lovely blogging friends who wished me a happy birthday, to family who sent me gorgeous cards, and to all the people who commented or became a follower of my blog to enter my giveaway!

And now, to announce the winner...

I wrote all the names on paper, and spread them on the kitchen bench...

Jack closed his eyes, waved his magic hand, and put it down to touch one of the papers.
Turned it over and found...

Nettie's blog,
(aka Nettie Nostalgia).

Yay!!!! You are the winner!!!

All these lovely goodies will be sent to you this week!!!!!

Enjoy!! xxx
P.S. Go check out Nettie Nostalgia - a blog full of gorgeousness, with a Tasmanian flavour!

Giveaway!

Rachel, over at the Shop Bug, is hosting a giveaway right now for Simag jewellery. You can win an adorable i love you necklace that looks like this:

I think that this would be an awesome necklace to give to your child as a comforter if they were just starting day care or kindy and finding it hard to settle (as a kindy teacher I see this all the time!)

I checked out the Simag etsy shop and there were heaps of other cute ideas too, my favourite being these:

Love them! Pop over to the Shop Bug to take a look and enter the comp!

Thank you Teresa!

I won my first giveaway (yay!!) and I was so excited to receive my winnings in the post - a fine art print by Teresa Sheeley and a little parcel of crafting goodies!

This pic just does not convey how stunning this artwork is! I love the play of light on it - it already looks as though it is under glass! I love Teresa's work and her honest blogging style, and am compelled to check her blog every day! There are so many beautiful items in her etsy shop, that I've been gearing up all year for a big spending spree for Christmas presents (and some things just for me!) Hopefully my fave items will still be there, because Teresa's stock sells quickly! Check her out here. Love your work, Teresa!

100th Post Giveaway - yay!!!!!!!!!

I haven't had much time to post lately, so it has taken longer to get here than I thought it would!

I have something very special as a Giveaway for my 100th post: a bottle of Ambrosia Essence from the miessence range of skin care products!

Okay, I didn't invent the range, but I believe miessence is the most beautiful and effective range of organic products on the market!

Ambrosia Essence is the most expensive product in the range because of its AMAZING qualities. It is an extremely potent combination of eight highly effective herbal and flower extracts to soothe, tone and renew the skin. The organic ingredients are Tamanu nut oil, rosehip seed oil, helichrysum flower oil, neroli flower oil, patchouli leaf oil, calendula flower extract, carrot seed extract, and rosemary leaf extract.

You can use it to heal cuts, scrapes, burns, insect bites and stings, abrasions, acne, acne scars, psoriasis, diabetic sores, sunburn, dry or scaly skin, blisters, and eczema. It can also be used to reduce the appearance of scars and facial lines and prevents signs of premature aging. Also, it can improve the appearance of scars, dermatitis, stretch marks, irritated skin, redness, boils and abcesses.
Phew! Have I found the Fountain of Youth or what?? I cannot rave enough about it!

Leave a comment and a link (to you) at the end of this post, and I will choose a winner (randomly) on Saturday 4th July. Good luck!!
