My Sister's Birthday

A couple of weeks ago we got together with my sister, Kristie, for her birthday. 

We went to a really pretty place in East Perth called the The Royal on the Waterfront.

365 Days in Nature 7

Around the time of Blake's 1st birthday, we went to the cemetery to see Willow's Place, 

which is in a commemorative garden for children who have passed away.

It is a very pretty garden, with clever landscaping,

 and lots of space for sisters, brothers and cousins to explore.

Willow, you will always be remembered.

365 Question Challenge - No.5: What was the last restaurant you went to?

Last night, to celebrate my Dad's birthday, we went to see Jack Reacher at the cinema. 

Even though Tom Cruise wasn't exactly the Jack Reacher I had in mind, 

he was perfect in the role, and has still got his good looks and charm. 

He also has the ability to not just portray a character but to actually become the character, 

so I look forward to many more Jack Reacher movies!

After the movie, to answer the No. 5 question of the year, we went to Fast Eddy's, 

where I totally indulged, and had an American Milkshake (chocolate and stawberry flavoured with whipped cream and spearmint topping, oh my goodness - heavenly!) and a bacon burger. So naughty, but had to be done! Forgot to take photos but the milkshake was something like this:

Mmm, mmm!

Such a good night out- we had a ball!

Christmas 2012 is over now...

Oh, Christmas, you were such a joy!

The kiddies and parents at school gave me all these goodies.

My colleagues gave me these pressies:

I turned this pile of my favourite books into a bookish Christmas tree. 

Favourite decorations could be found around the house.

Christmas dinner was delish!

Mum's trifle was divine!

 We had fun in the shade.

We visited  with family.

I got more Christmas loot!

And now...onto 2013!
