Film Love - The King's Speech

This is a film that studies people. Their flaws, their place in society, their expectations of themselves, the expectations of others, and the power of friendship. It is so brilliantly acted by Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter, and I just love the way the relationship builds between the two men. So heart-warming.

The film was set in the 20s and 30s so there is an abundance of art deco influence in the styling. We watched the film for the second time last night, and believe me, it adds a whole new depth to the viewing when you are taking in all the decor, props and costuming as well. Especially if you love that style!

I loved all the coats, hats and gloves.

And I was eyeing off the wallpaper, lamps and furniture too:

It was just exquisite to watch, and the story is unforgettable!
