The Queen of Hearts

Here is one of my recent drawings of Alice in Wonderland characters.
LOOOOVE the colours and patterns of the Queen of Hearts. I've drawn her similar to the Disney version, just with simpler lines, and a prettier face. I've used textas, because I wanted vibrant colours, but apparently a better version (without the texture lines) can be created with ink. I'm looking into it...

  2. OH does the fact that you took this pic of the queen of hearts mean you got your camera fixed???????

  3. Jonathon took the camera apart and there's corrosion inside, so it is definitely not working. My sister reminded me I could use the scanner, so that's what I'll be doing for awhile. But I still desperately need a camera. It's like losing my keys or mobile - you know how that feels!

  4. I have a spare camera you can borrow until you get a new camera. It is not one that I am using at the moment so you can borrow it for a few months if need be. It's nothing flash just a 4.1 megapixel Sony Cybershot. But at least it will keep you blogging. You see you have got me hooked on your blog page, so now I will do anything in my power to keep you blogging!

  5. You are adorable! My eyes welled up when I read your words. Thanks, I might have to take you up on your offer. I'm going to ring the Canon people tomorrow to see what they think. Funny thing is, I can actually take photos with it and upload them, but I can't see anything on the LCD screen at all, so a good picture would be a bit flukey! And too much hard work trying to concentrate. But I'll ring tomorrow and see what they say. It's a worry!

  6. No worries, your cards and the camera are here whenever you want them. I'm happy to meet you somewhere if it's easier. I will speak to you on the e-mail.
